This is where most outfit posts will probably take place over the winter. I'm super bored today and filled with work, but really just distracted. However, I was happy to find out that my new camera works beautifully. I love how my old jeans look through the lens.
So yesterday I went on a terrible date, and realized something really important about people. And that is, that even someone who is liberal-minded can still be really ignorant. This guy told me about how his ex-girlfriend had tried to break up with him three times and he wouldn't let her. I mean, I understand the complexity of human emotion and that sometimes good people do shitty things, but that's a scary thing to tell a girl you just asked out.
Tomorrow I'm going to a gallery hop, and with most definately post the events of the night.
outfit is all vintage

I'm Feeling It
So here's a basic recap of my life, within the last 4 months school has made it pretty difficult to update this. Although I do know there are thousands who seem to be able to do it, the initial unpopularity of this thing made writing about my life a little tedious. Also it's kind of narsicistic.
The best blog I ever read was this one that was written by a young fashionista, living a seemingly glamorous life. She updated regularly, until she finally stopped. Ten months later she wrote one last post, explaining her addiction to drugs and stint in rehab.
I just don't think anyone is content enough about themselves. So the idea of a page to fill with your everyday seems really fake to me. So I've decided that from now on I'm going to use this as much as possible, for serious. And I'm going to lay out problems, wishes, goals. EVERYTHING. That's the one problem with the quintessential 'blogger'. They seem kind of inhuman to me. Sorry. But no one just "goes to lunch, prances around a fantastic city, drinks red wine, is uber busy being beautiful." It just seems like a fantasy to me.
So here's my life... let's begin.
1) North Bay sunset. It was lovely
2) The dirtiest, best art projection I've ever seen. It was worth getting yelled at by security to document it.
3)The last art show that made me cry. After I took the pictures Alex and I sat under the bubbles and talked about the universe. Decided we loved it, hated it, and then loved it again.
4) The best, artsiest shots from tight and bright. I'm the one with the outrageous pink wig. Half way through that night, at the bar, I decided it would be a fantastic idea to throw the wig onto the stage and into a group of dancers. Never saw it again, until a half hour ago while trolling facebook. I stumbled upon some shots of the night, and low and behold my pink bob was sitting on the back of some muscular guy's head. I love small towns and coincidences.

Today I woke up excited, entertained by the fact that today I would attempt a look only pulled off well by Diane Keaton, and the lead singer from Beach House. I'd have to say if I chose a favourite look for that weekend it would be her black button up, buttoned all the way to the top, cut and then re-attached with safety pins. I was in awe. The photo is from PhotogMusic.
Another bit of today's inspiration... from lookbook.

And finally the outfit post after all the pre amble:
I haven't been using conditioner or shampoo purposefully in order to make my hair an afro. Somedays it works, but half the time I just look homeless.

Osheaga
So in order to make up for abusing this blog, I just completed a mega photo post, which are usually my favourite anyway so I was really thinking about the readers today ha ha. The majority of these were taken in Montreal, where I saw the beautiful of Montreal, Rich Aucoin (he's the dude with neon glasses who threw glitter and water guns), Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Beach House, Japandroids... plus Jamie Lidell and Arcade Fire however Chantal was far to exhausted to take pictures of the last two. And since I was far to giddy to take a focused picture we were pretty much screwed. Anyway that was my weekend, I think I have an outfit shot around somewhere which will eventually end up on here.
Plus the last two are underappreciated shots from lookbook.nu. Those are always the best kind. Tip: when on lookbook always read the NEW column first to support the newbies, sometimes there's good ass shit there.
